RESUMO Introdução Ser jogador de futebol é um dos sonhos mais presentes no imaginário popular da criança brasileira. Entretanto, o caminho para a profissionalização é árduo, e diversos motivos podem ser apontados para essa dificuldade: ambiente muito acirrado, poucas chances, aconselhamento insatisfatório na carreira, entre outros. No futebol competitivo, o atleta deve estar pronto para todas as cobranças que vierem a ser feitas, assim como aceitar a exigência da melhor performance possível. Aliado a isso, atletas da categoria de base ainda são adolescentes e jovens em formação, normalmente até os 21 anos, que são muitas vezes obrigados a escolher o futebol e suas exigências, em detrimento do estudo e do convívio familiar, para se tornarem jogadores profissionais. Nesse cenário, um motivo ainda pouco debatido é a saúde mental entre jogadores de futebol. Objetivos Verificar a frequência de sintomas de ansiedade e depressão entre jogadores de futebol das categorias de base sub-20 dos clubes pernambucanos e avaliar sua associação a dados sociodemográficos, atléticos e de saúde. Métodos Aplicou-se a Escala Hospitalar de Ansiedade e Depressão (HAD), assim como foram colhidos dados sociodemográficos, atléticos e de saúde. Realizou-se uma análise descritiva marginal, assim como avaliação categórica e numérica das variáveis relacionadas com ansiedade e depressão. Por fim, foi feito um estudo de regressão linear para os escores de ansiedade e depressão. Resultado Verificou-se associação estatisticamente significativa entre renda recebida e aumento de sintomas de ansiedade. Também foi identificado aumento de sintomas de depressão com a diminuição da renda recebida. Conclusão Mostra-se necessário a realização de mais pesquisas, com um número maior de participantes, assim como maior variabilidade de clubes, para melhor entender a relação encontrada. ABSTRACT Introduction Being a soccer player is one of the dreams most present in the popular imagination of Brazilian children. However, the path to professionalization is arduous and several reasons can be pointed out for this difficulty: a very competitive environment, few chances, and poor career counseling, among others. In competitive soccer, the athlete must be ready for all the demands that will be made, as well as accept the demand for the best possible performance. Furthermore, athletes from the youth system are still adolescents and youths in development, usually up to 21 years of age, who are often forced to choose soccer and its demands, at the expense of their studies and family lives, to become professional players. In this scenario, a still little-debated topic is mental health among soccer players. Objectives To verify the frequency of anxiety and depression symptoms among soccer players of the under-20 youth categories of Pernambuco clubs and to assess its association with sociodemographic, athletic, and health data. Methods The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) was applied and socio-demographic, athletic, and health data were collected. A marginal descriptive analysis was conducted, as well as categorical and numerical assessments of anxiety- and depression-related variables. Finally, a linear regression study of the anxiety and depression scores was conducted. Results A statistically significant association was found between income received and an increase in anxiety symptoms. An increase in depressive symptoms as income decreased was also identified. Conclusion Further research with larger numbers of participants is needed, as well as with a greater variety of clubs, to better understand the relationship observed. RESUMEN Introducción Ser jugador de fútbol es uno de los sueños más presentes en el imaginario popular de los niños brasileños. Sin embargo, el camino hacia la profesionalización es arduo y se pueden señalar varias razones para esta dificultad: un entorno muy competitivo, pocas oportunidades, asesoramiento insatisfactorio en la carrera, entre otras. En el fútbol de competición, el deportista debe estar preparado para todas las exigencias que se le planteen, así como para aceptar la demanda de un excelente desempeño . Junto a ello, los deportistas de la categoría de base son todavía adolescentes y jóvenes en formación, normalmente hasta los 21 años, que muchas veces se ven obligados a elegir el fútbol y sus exigencias, en detrimento del estudio y el entorno familiar, para convertirse en jugadores profesionales. En este escenario, un tema aún poco debatido es la salud mental entre los futbolistas. Objetivos Verificar la frecuencia de los síntomas de ansiedad y depresión entre los futbolistas de las categorías sub-20 de los clubes de Pernambuco y evaluar su asociación con datos sociodemográficos, deportivos y de salud. Métodos Se aplicó la Escala de Ansiedad y Depresión Hospitalaria (HAD), y se recopilaron datos sociodemográficos, deportivos y de salud. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo marginal, así como una evaluación categórica y numérica de las variables relacionadas con la ansiedad y la depresión. Por último, se realizó un estudio de regresión lineal para las puntuaciones de ansiedad y depresión. Resultados Hubo una asociación estadísticamente significativa entre los ingresos recibidos y el aumento de los síntomas de ansiedad. También se identificó un aumento de los síntomas de depresión con la disminución de la renta recibida. Conclusión Es necesario realizar más investigaciones, con un mayor número de participantes, así como una mayor variabilidad de clubes, para entender mejor la relación encontrada. ABSTRACT Returning to the theme of the influence of the experiences of the revolts that precede the independence process and the contrasts between such events, this article examines the singular trajectory of two characters between the end of the eighteenth and the first decades of the nineteenth century. José Resende Costa Filho and Manuel Rodrigues da Costa participated in the Inconfidência Mineira (Minas Conspiracy) and, after serving their sentence with exile, returned to Brazil and played an active role in the political emancipation process from 1822. To this end, an effort is made to follow the course of action of each of them, from the conspiracy in Minas Gerais, to their political rehabilitation. This occurs with the participation in the debates on the demands made by the Portuguese courts to Brazil and, after the rupture, in the preparation of the Constituent Assembly of 1823. We seek to approximate, within what the available historical sources offer, the political languages adopted in the different circumstances in which they were involved, without failing to insert them in their contexts.

RESUMO Voltando-se para o tema da influência das experiências das revoltas que antecedem o processo de independência e os contrastes entre tais eventos, o artigo examina a trajetória singular de dois personagens entre o final do século XVIII e as primeiras décadas do século XIX. José Resende Costa Filho e o padre Manuel Rodrigues da Costa participaram da Inconfidência Mineira e, depois de cumprir a condenação com o degredo, retornam ao Brasil e atuam no processo de emancipação política a partir de 1822. Para isso faz-se um esforço de acompanhar o percurso da atuação de cada um deles, desde a conspiração em Minas Gerais, até suas reabilitações políticas. Isso ocorre com a participação nos debates sobre as exigências das cortes de Portugal ao Brasil e, após o rompimento, na preparação da Constituinte de 1823. Busca-se aproximar, dentro do que as fontes históricas disponíveis oferecem, as linguagens políticas adotadas nas diferentes circunstâncias em que estiveram envolvidos, sem deixar de inseri-las em seus contextos.

ABSTRACT Objective: The article aims to identify productions on LGBTQIA+ gender and sexuality studies in Information Science (CI). In this bibliographic research, the theoretical contribution follows an approach of gender and sexuality studies with the perspective of epistemic injustice and its structural and hermeneutic approaches in the context of power relations and historical inequalities of people who escape the heterosexual hegemony. Method: The focus of the survey are the research lines of Graduate Programs (PPGs) and academic productions in the CAPES Catalog of Theses and Dissertations that address gender and sexuality issues in the southern region of Brazil in Cl. It is interesting to identify the contributions of the field in the genesis and development of production spaces on the theme. From the mapping of theoretical and methodological references, as well as more recurrent objects of study, it is intended to delineate the contributions, advances and limits of the IC field in the context of historical inequalities. We understand the relevance of identifying authors and institutions contemporizing the discussions of intersectional and decolonial studies. Result: It is relevant to identify structuring forms of maintenance of power and spaces of resistance and overcoming the inequalities of representations and experiences that bring meaning in the historical and social context to those who escape norms and hegemonies about gender and sexuality. We identified a total of 42 theses and dissertations in IC on the themes of gender and sexuality, of which only 6 were carried out in southern Brazil. As for research lines of PPGs, of the 24 higher education institutions in Brazil that offer master and doctoral courses, in only one line of research was the term “gender” identified in its description. Conclusions: Among them we consider that the themes in focus are still underrepresented in the LGBTQIA+ approach both in research lines and in academic production.

RESUMO Objetivo: O artigo objetiva identificar produções sobre os estudos de gênero e sexualidade LGBTQIA+ na Ciência da Informação (CI). Nesta pesquisa bibliográfica, o aporte teórico segue uma aproximação dos estudos de gênero e da sexualidade com a perspectiva da injustiça epistêmica e suas abordagens estrutural e hermenêutica em contexto de relações de poder e desigualdades históricas de pessoas que fogem à hegemonia heterossexual. Método: O recorte do levantamento são as linhas de pesquisa de Programas de Pós-Graduação (PPGs) e produções acadêmicas no Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES que abordam temáticas de gênero e sexualidade na região sul do Brasil na CI. Interessa identificar as contribuições do campo na gênese e no desenvolvimento de espaços de produção sobre a temática. A partir do mapeamento de referenciais teóricos e metodológicos, como também objetos de estudo mais recorrentes, pretende-se delinear as contribuições, avanços e limites do campo da CI no contexto de desigualdades históricas. Entende-se a importância de identificar autores e instituições contemporizando as discussões de estudos interseccionais e decoloniais. Resultado: É relevante flagrar e mapear formas estruturantes de manutenção de poder e espaços de resistência e de superação das desigualdades das representações e experiências que trazem sentido no contexto histórico e social para os que escapam das normas e hegemonias sobre gênero e sexualidade. Identificamos um total de 42 teses e dissertações em CI sobre as temáticas de gênero e sexualidade, sendo que apenas 6 foram realizadas no Sul do Brasil. Quanto às linhas de pesquisa dos PPGs, das 24 instituições de nível superior do Brasil que oferecem cursos de mestrado e doutorado, em apenas uma linha de pesquisa foi identificado o termo “gênero” em sua descrição. Conclusões: Consideramos que os temas em foco ainda estão sub-representados na abordagem LGBTQIA+ tanto em linhas de pesquisa quanto na produção acadêmica.

Resumo As ideias vygotskyanas chegaram à Educação em Ciências no Brasil há mais de três décadas. Mesmo assim, resta em aberto um diálogo entre os levantamentos realizados. Portanto, este estudo endereça a questão: Os resultados apresentados por Bonfim, Solino e Gehlen nas dissertações e teses refletem tendências nos artigos publicados em periódicos? Nosso levantamento conta com artigos publicados em periódicos por pesquisadores da Educação em Ciências, que integram Grupos de Pesquisa, que indicam formalmente a Teoria Histórico-Cultural como norteadora dos trabalhos. Concluímos que é possível detectar tal relação, contudo, o conjunto de dados parece indicar que há um descompasso de uma década entre as categorias nos dois tipos de publicações. Quando considerado o espaço relativo de pesquisa, notam-se categorias com tendências de crescimento, como educação especial e práticas didático-pedagógicas. Abstract Vygotsky’s ideas have been part of Brazilian science education for over three decades. Nonetheless, communication between the surveys is still lacking. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the findings presented by Bonfim, Solino, and Gehlen in dissertations and theses reflect the trends among journal articles. The study includes articles published in journals by science education researchers who are members of research groups that formally identify the cultural-historical approach as the theoretical framework. We conclude that such a relationship exists; however, the corpus appears to show a ten-year gap between the two types of publication categories. By looking at relative research output, categories have been identified that show growth trends, such as special education and didactic-pedagogical practices. Others, including teacher education and non-formal spaces, remain stable. The category of student and/or teacher perceptions is declining. RESUMO: Na espécie suína os tumores são pouco diagnosticados devido a curta vida útil dos animais de produção. Normalmente não causam sinais clínicos, sendo, muitas vezes, encontrados no momento do abate. Um reprodutor com dois anos de idade, da raça Large White, utilizado no manejo reprodutivo de uma granja, sem histórico de problemas pré-existentes, foi examinado em função de lesões na pele da bolsa escrotal. Foram coletadas amostras de segmentos de pele contendo lesões para o diagnóstico histopatológico e imunohistoquímico. Microscopicamente os nodos em bolsa escrotal consistiam em neoplasias mal demarcadas, altamente celulares, expansivas e multifocalmente invasivas composta por endoteliócitos imaturos organizados em formações neovasculares. As células tumorais eram pleomórficas, levemente ovais a fusiformes com citoplasma eosinofílico e núcleos hipercromáticos e com um a três nucléolos. Todos os nódulos analisados foram compatíveis com hemangiossarcoma. Para a quantificação da angiogênese tecidual, após a avaliação imunohistoquímica, as células neoplásicas imunoexpressaram os anticorpos monoclonais CD31 e Fator VIII, através da identificação de proteínas expressas na superfície das células endoteliais. Observou-se o marcador de proliferação celular Ki67 positivo em aproximadamente 10% das células neoplásicas, demonstrando um alto grau de malignidade. O hemangiossarcoma na espécie suína já foi identificado em vários órgãos e tecidos, mas, até o momento, nenhum trabalho demonstrou o diagnóstico na pele da bolsa escrotal, como reportado, ineditamente, neste estudo. Face o exposto, espera-se que este relato contribua para a frequência de neoplasias encontradas na espécie suína.

ABSTRACT: Tumors are rarely diagnosed in swine specie because of the short lifespan of production animals. Normally, these tumors do not present any clinical signs and are often detected at the time of slaughter. A 2-year-old Large White boar, used in the reproductive management of a farm and without a history of pre-existing problems, was examined for skin lesions on the scrotum. Samples were collected from skin segments containing lesions for histopathological and immunohistochemical diagnosis. Microscopically, the nodes in the scrotum pouch consisted of poorly demarcated, highly cellular, expansile, and multifocally invasive neoplasms, composed of immature endotheliocytes organized into neovascular formations. The tumor cells were pleomorphic, slightly oval to spindle-shaped, with eosinophilic cytoplasm and hyperchromatic nuclei with one to three nucleoli. All the nodules analyzed were compatible with hemangiosarcoma. After immunohistochemical evaluation, for the quantification of tissue angiogenesis the neoplastic cells immunoexpressed the CD31 monoclonal antibodies and factor VIII, through the identification of proteins expressed on the surface of endothelial cells. The Ki67 cell proliferation marker was positive in approximately 10% of the neoplastic cells, demonstrating a high degree of malignancy. Hemangiosarcoma in swine species has already been identified in several organs and tissues; however, to date, no study has demonstrated the diagnosis of this condition on the skin of the scrotum, as reported in this study. Therefore, it is expected that this report will contribute to the knowledge of the frequency of neoplasms in swine species.

Abstract This study evaluated the effect of crude protein (CP) reduction in four diets (156, 139, 132, and 127 g Kg-1 DM) maintaining constant metabolizable protein (188 g/day) on the follicular fluid and cumulus-oocyte complexes of mid-lactating Girolando cows. Twenty-two Girolando cows with average of 21.55 ±3.19 L daily milk yield, 105.30 ±22.62 days in lactation and 3.22 ±0.03 body condition score were selected. To reduce CP in diets and maintain constant metabolizable protein, urea and soybean meal were gradually replaced by lignosulfonate-treated soybean meal (SoyPass®, Cargill), resulting in an increase in rumen-undegradable protein and a reduction in rumen degradable protein. A linear and quadratic reduction was observed in the plasma and follicular fluid urea nitrogen concentration following CP reduction, with the most intense reduction occurring in the 127 g Kg-1 DM group (p<0.001). As CP reduced, there was a tendency for a linear increase in the follicular growth rate (P=0.0696), on the number and proportion of viable oocytes (P<0.09), and also a linear increase for the number (P=0.0397) and proportion (P<0.09) of grade I viable oocytes. Plus, there was a linear effect for the number of cumulus oophorus cells. Cows fed with the lowest amount of CP had cumulus-oocyte complexes with higher numbers of cumulus oophorus cells (P=0.0238). Also, the reduction of diet crude protein was followed by a decrease in the probability of oocytes’ DNA degradation. In conclusion, the reduction of CP in the diet of mid-lactating Girolando cows, reduces urea nitrogen concentration in both blood plasma and follicular fluid, and, as a consequence, increases the viability of oocytes and the number of cumulus oophorus cells while reducing oocytes’ DNA degradation of follicular included cumulus-oocyte complex. The reduction on dietary CP may improve in vivo oocytes’ embryo development impacting fertility of lactating dairy cows.

Abstract Intense mobility is a characteristic observed in the context of travestis who work in sex markets. Studies on the subject usually emphasize that this mobility is related to a project of refinement, social ascension, and greater social, symbolic, and economic well-being, besides serving as a project of transformation and beautification of the bodies. Based on ethnographic work, I argue that, in order to understand the various orders of displacements of travestis, it is necessary to understand such movements as a perpetual motion machine, and not as being determined by imperatives that would necessarily lead to displacements from one place to another in search of something - much less something exceptional. In the observed context, displacements are a way of being in the world. Events occur during the displacements, not because of them.

Resumo A intensa mobilidade é uma característica notada no contexto de travestis que atuam nos mercados do sexo. Os estudos sobre o tema costumam enfatizar que essa mobilidade possui relação com um projeto de refinamento, ascensão social, maior bem-estar social, simbólico e econômico; além de servir como um projeto de transformação e embelezamento dos corpos. Com base em um trabalho etnográfico, argumento que, para compreender as várias ordens de deslocamentos de travestis, é necessário compreender os movimentos como uma máquina de moto-contínuo, não como sendo determinados por imperativos que levariam necessariamente aos deslocamentos de um lugar para outro, em busca de algo, muito menos como algo excepcional. No contexto observado os deslocamentos são um modo de estar no mundo. Os eventos ocorrem durante os deslocamentos, não em função deles.

Abstract Introduction The predictability of nasal tip projection and rotation after aesthetic surgery is a challenge. Tongue-in-groove (TIG) is an effective technique to control tip projection and rotation, but there may be a small loss of projection and rotation of the tip lobe due to lack of support between the anterior septal angle and the domus, since this region is sustained by medial crusts suture-linked and interdomus sutures. Objective To describe a new surgery technique in an attempt to correct the lack of support for the nasal tip after lowering the nasal dorsum. Methods The horn technique consists in preserving a square of cartilage during the removal of the nasal dorsum and septum excess in patients with long and projected nose. This piece will give greater support to the TIG technique and greater predictability of the rotation and projection of the nasal tip. Results Between 2016 and 2018, 50 patients with long and projected noses were submitted to the “horn technique” surgery. They were submitted to the TIG technique associated to the horn technique. A retrospective review of the preoperative and postoperative photographs (3 months to 1 year) of these patients treated with the horn technique were analyzed and showed better support of the nasal tip. Conclusion The horn technique provides greater support to the projection and rotation of rhinoplasties in patients with long and projected nose.

Abstract Microbial β-glucosidases can be used in several industrial processes, including production of biofuels, functional foods, juices, and beverages. In the present work, production of β-glucosidase by solid state cultivation of the fungus Thermoascus crustaceus in a low-cost cultivation medium (comprising agroindustrial residues) was evaluated. The highest production of β-glucosidase, about 415.1 U/g substrate (or 41.51 U/mL), was obtained by cultivating the fungus in wheat bran with 70% humidity, during 96 h at 40°C. The enzymatic activity was optimum at pH 4.5 and 65°C. β-Glucosidase maintained its catalytic activity when incubated at a pH range of 4.0-8.0 and temperature of 30-55°C. The enzyme was strongly inhibited by glucose; even when the substrate and glucose concentrations were equal, the inhibition was not reversed, suggesting a non-competitive inhibition. In the presence of up to 10% ethanol, β-glucosidase maintained its catalytic activity. In addition to β-glucosidase, the enzymatic extract showed activity of 36 U/g for endoglucanase, 256.2 U/g for xylanase, and 18.2 U/g for β-xylosidase. The results allow to conclude that the fungus T. crustaceus has considerable potential for production of β-glucosidase and xylanase when cultivated in agroindustrial residues, thereby reducing the cost of these biocatalysts.

Resumo: Uma das questões atuais no ensino de ciências refere-se às mudanças curriculares e à centralidade e descentralização da gestão escolar. Particularmente, a autonomia curricular vem ganhando atenção dos educadores e pesquisadores, por ser considerada elemento fundamental para mudanças nas práticas pedagógicas. A recente aprovação da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) tem gerado discussões que colocam em questão o engessamento curricular em âmbito nacional. Este estudo objetiva analisar as relações entre o grau de autonomia curricular nas escolas e o desempenho dos estudantes no PISA 2015. Utilizamos o método de regressão multinível aplicado nos microdados referentes ao Brasil. Os resultados indicam não haver evidências claras de que a autonomia curricular está associada ao desempenho dos estudantes no PISA. Como expressado pelos resultados, devem existir aspectos mais relevantes para compreender o desempenho dos estudantes, como as desigualdades de gênero e as condições socioeconômicas. Este estudo contribui para discussões sobre controle e autonomia curricular presentes no ensino de ciências.

Abstract: One of the current issues in science education refers to curriculum changes and the centrality and decentralization of school management. In particular, curricular autonomy has been gaining attention from educators and researchers, as it is considered a fundamental element for changes in pedagogical practices. The recent approval of the Common Basic National Curriculum (CBNC) has generated discussions that call into question the curricular immobilization at the national level. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the degree of curricular autonomy in schools and student performance in PISA 2015. We used the multilevel regression method applied to microdata for Brazil. The results indicate that there is no clear evidence that curricular autonomy is associated with student performance in PISA. As expressed by the results, there must be aspects that are more relevant to understanding student performance, such as gender and socioeconomic inequalities. This study contributes to discussions about curricular control and autonomy present in science education.

RESUMO O objetivo do estudo foi compreender como se deu o uso do recurso do Programa Nacional de Melhoria do Acesso e da Qualidade da Atenção Básica (PMAQ-AB) em nível municipal, como estratégia de pagamento por desempenho, no estado da Paraíba. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa. Participaram do estudo 219 municípios, de um total de 223 existentes no estado, com os quais realizou-se um inquérito com os gestores municipais em 2018. Os dados sofreram análise estatística descritiva. Os resultados apontam que a maioria dos municípios adotou lei municipal como normativa para regulamentar o uso dos incentivos financeiros do PMAQ-AB. A avaliação externa foi o principal critério de repasse dos recursos financeiros às equipes de saúde. No decorrer dos ciclos, mais atores receberam recursos além da equipe mínima da estratégia de saúde da família e o repasse foi feito de forma semestral e anual, sendo cerca de 40% a 50% do valor destinado às equipes e o restante investido em melhorias das condições de trabalho. Conclui-se que os recursos do PMAQ-AB foram utilizados com uma tendência homogênea nos municípios da Paraíba, repassando incentivos financeiros para os trabalhadores, mas se preocupando também com investimentos nas condições de trabalho das equipes.

ABSTRACT The study aimed to understand how the resource of the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Primary Care (PMAQ-AB) was used at the municipal level, as a payment-for-performance strategy, in the state of Paraíba. This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. 219 municipalities of a total of 223 in the state participated in the study, with which an inquiry was carried out with municipal managers in 2018. The data underwent descriptive statistical analysis. Results show that most municipalities have adopted a municipal law as a rule to regulate the use of financial incentives under the PMAQ-AB. External evaluation was the main criterion for transferring financial resources to health teams. During cycles, more actors received resources in addition to the minimum team of the family health strategy and the transfer was made on a biannual and annual basis, with around 40% to 50% of the amount allocated to the teams and the remainder invested in improvements in work conditions. It is concluded that the resources of the PMAQ-AB were used with a homogeneous trend in the municipalities of Paraíba, transferring financial incentives to workers, but also being concerned with investments in the working conditions of the teams.
